This deck idea stems from my love for the {angel of glory's rise} and her amazing effect (although i wish it was a different tribal than humans).

I am fairly new to playing naya, but i have helped Dennis (my team's aggro speciallist) with his many, many naya and red green builds. I am used to beating it, but not used to making counter measures against those ways if beating it. I know i will need {manic vandal}, {war priest of thune}, an extra {thalia, gardian of thraben}, but i'm not sure where to go from there.

Thoughts, ideas, comments, and suggestions are much appriciated.

Edit: testing has shown i need life gain, i am considering {nearheath pilgrim}. {blade splicer} i know would be great to have, but i don't have any. {lightning mauler} has come up in my brainstorming, as well as {restoration angel}.

This seems like a fun deck!

It really fun, but my gf hasnt been so happy with it after i put {fiend hunter} on my {angel of glory's rise} and cast {day of judgment} (before replacing them with bonfire). I will say though, naya mana sucks and i can't wait for shocklands in this deck.

What's the point of shock lands?   Or am
I missing something here?

They are the only dual that produces both colors without a draw back while having this amazing aspect: for a small price you can CHOOSE if it enters tapped or not. How many games have you lost do to getting a land that enters tapped or wasnt the right color when you needed it most. There are lots of great duals out there, but there is one other thing on top of those traits i just mentioned. That is that they have basic land types while being a dual. Suddenly this already great cycle is available via {liliana of the dark realms}, {farseek}, {arbor elf}, {arid mesa}, and any other card that specificly mentions "mountain, forest, swamp, plains, and/or island."

{champion of lambholt} wins games. And if you ever pop an {angel of glory's rise} it's a big deal cus the champion gets the pluses from the other creatures.

I totally agree! She didn't make the cut though because my meta is very R/G aggro heavy right not and that comes with a lot of little dude hate. I opted for {mentor of the meek} and a {instigator gang} instead do to higher and more immediate utility. As much as I love lambholt, she is a waste when she dies first turn in play. If the meta shifts away from little dude hate I will be running three beyond a doubt. With the advent of Jund zombies and selesnya token beats on the way this may not see fruition any time soon.
