Ideas and Feedback / Re: App Update
January 21, 2016, 03:11:46 PM
It was your choice to not update for, at the very least compatibility, the last 18 months. If you don't change with the times you will be left behind and alienate users that have been there since your first release.

User reassurance like
I'm aware that there are some bugs. They will be addressed in the next release that I'd like to have out ...
Is all that would have been needed. Not these defensive responses that don't really help your paying users by alienating them instead.

I never said you owed me anything. What I said was the app has bugs and that's because it hasn't been updated in a year and a half.
That's all on you. You can't blame Apple for updating the host operating system. They have a well established upgrade cycle that predates this app. Blaming Apple like that is a cop out.

You use to update the app when a new major iOS version was released and then you stopped. You can't say it's your users fault for upgrading an older device with a newer iOS version or buying the latest device.

My intention was not to offend you but to express my frustration that the app is broken and you've been saying for a while that a big update is coming but as of yet there is no update and no news about it other than its coming.

Ideas and Feedback / App Update

When are you going up update this app? The current version almost two years old and crashes frequently.

You've said its in the works before but two years is a long time and I've gotten to the point where I rarely use this because it rarely works correctly.

Updating the offline cache crashes the app. Editing a deck crashes the app.
Prices updated by looking at a card don't hold upon relaunch.
Can't link devices for life tracking.

Other users complain of the same things but because your version doesn't do that you do nothing. I understand that if you can't reproduce the issue its hard to troubleshoot but you can't just brush of your users. The issues exist and need to be dealt with.

Help for iMtG / Re: Not saving price data
June 09, 2015, 10:14:19 PM
I have 66GB free. Space isn't an issue. When I  try to load price and or image data via offline cache iMTG crashes. Maybe 1/20 attempts it finishes without crashing.

Please add an option to toggle between 2 and 4 life counters on one page on the iPad. It has the screen space so why not utilize it.

Ideas and Feedback / Re: Foil only prices

No not a seperate section just make it so when I'm looking at prices the FTV Jace doesn't show up at the bottom but is instead listed higher so it's directly comparable.

Foil only cards (ie from the vault) need to be listed so they can be sorted and compared to other cards. Not at the bottom.

Look up prices on all plainswalkers.
Sort by price.
Jace, the mind sculptor (world wake) is first and the from the vault version is at the very bottom of the list.

They need to be listed so that both are directly comparable.

I find it very had to believe that so many users are experiencing crashes yet you can't find an issue.

I am experiencing crashing while updating offline cache (images and prices)

Tcgplayer has a price chart history of each card. Can you incorporate that for each card also within iMTG?

Help for iMtG / Re: Long load time on card database
June 23, 2014, 10:39:43 PM
Could you load the database into memory upon app launch or maybe half the database on launch. Launch would take a bit longer but when you go into it it wouldn't take as long because it's either already loaded into memory.

Ideas and Feedback / Block/Set price update

Update individual sets and blocks prices with one action rather instead of having to update them all.

The update all option will still be there but individual set updates would make it easier to see prices for a particular set after a database update.
