When I declare an attack...can my opponent activate the key rune s effect pay the cost and have it become a creature and block my attack? And one more thing, can I remove the last counters on the plans walker to activate one of its effects?

If I m attacking with a creature with trample and my opponent blocks with a creature with death touch does trample still active ?

During the oppent s turn, he cast an spell, and someone s trying to cast an counter spell. He/she has one of the guild hate land on the field and want to tap it to add an mana to the mana pool and pay that mana to cast the counter spell, does he/she need to tap the guild gate at the beginning of the oppents turn or he/she can just tap the guild gate and get the mana in instant speed and tap it to cast a spell?

When someone activated extort in a multiplayer match each oppents loses life equal to the extort creature that he/she pay the mana for it. My question is does he/she gain the total life points of all oppents lost or just however many life point each oppent lost? And when he/she cast a creature spell with extort, can he/she pay the mana for the creature that s summoning out to activate the extort ability?
