If I use {Condemn} on {Kaalia of the Vast} as soon as attackers are declared, does my opponent still get an angel, demon, or dragon?

Yes. Once she is declared as an attacker her ability goes on the stack. If something happens to her the ability still resolves and puts in the demon, Angel or dragon. Kaalia then goes to the bottom (or if the player chooses the command zone) and continues combat. But priority must be passed first by the attacker before you can condemn.

You can counter it. Once it's on the battlefield the effect will hold.

Needs {blue sun zenith} since you have axebane in here. Make lots of mana and make them draw their deck as an alt wincon if you wanted.

I like anticipate because I can have the chance to help make sure I don't draw my copy of Blightsteel and it also allows me to look for my pieces 1 card deeper. While yes serum visions is a great card and it's something I can do turn 1, I would rather react at end of turn

Could always go RW and run {burn at the stake }too. Gives you acess to {Boris charm} and {intangible virtue} and other things as well

You draw 1 card. He deals damage once. If he were to have double strike then you would draw 2. How much damage he does doesn't matter just counts the number of times he connects. I'm presuming we are talking combat damage here

Updated the main deck a little bit. Test played against abzan a bit and I ended up splitting the even with him. So need more sideboard work and I'll update that as well. Have a lot of ideas

My LGS is stupid good on prize support. First place gets like 20 packs usually.

Edit 2: I see you have shape anew. I'd run 2 blightys because if you draw one there's a problem.

I run he vendillon clique to help with that problem actually. I thought about 2 but decided 1. I think I'll proxy this up and see how it does. While I haven't tested much I remember this deck back when scars was here. Haha

alright I'll admit I'm having a brain fart. So with {tasigur the golden fang}'s ability put on the stack if he is killed I do not get the card from the grave and the ability is countered right? And I still mill the 2 cards.

{Alter of the brood} (my favorite magic card from khans), {midnight guard}, {ornithopter}, and {retraction helix}. Super easy to ruin the combo but still super fun if you can go off.
