Hey man, curious if you still have anything available in that lot. Can you let me know what's available please. I'm interested in a decent amount of things but only want to pick up a few pieces based on interest and availability.

I would update the mana base if you're splashing white for the leylines. If you draw one on your first draw step it's the worst thing possible.

You can also play {lingering souls} if you're going to add that white to it.

im rebuilding a talrand deck that I played for a while but I don't want to pay for expensive stuff. Anyone have some recommendations for some mono U commander cards. I want to run it with a small amount of creatures and just tons of permission and tempo stuff, waiting to beat down with a drake army

Hooded Hydra doesn't care how it's being turned face-up, only that it's happening.  If you Manifest it, then pay it's mana cost (XGG and X being 0), it'll still get those counters.

That's what I figured, but there's some tricky things in magics rulings so I just wanted to make sure. Now I know that {whisper wood elemental} has some good synergy!

if {hooded hydra} gets manifested, if you turn it over for GG, does it get the 5 +1/+1 counters that it says it gets ejen turned up or is that only if it is U morphed

Im gonna be heading to GPLA in two weeks and don't have any clue what to play. I just got back into collecting recently but haven't played an event in close to 6 months. Am I best suited just giving in and playing Abzan?

There's not a lot of "serious" players on there though. You should just go through and follow all the local stores FB pages. Expanding out of LA is gonna have to happen if you want to play in large events. DEALS doesn't run a lot of stuff?? I thought they tried to run huge events all the time.

Did you go to the pptq at Shuffle n Cut this last weekend? They have them all the time.  Driving to sandy ego is far, but there's a lot of events like that in OC and in a lot of the IE

Anyone need 3 {mana confluence}?  I do not need them anymore and would be willing to take a hit on the trade value to move them.  Say $10 a pop in trade.

Also have 2 {battlefield forge} from apocalypse if anyone is interested in those.

Did you trade the cradle yet?  I can add them in the mix towards that.

I'm gonna jump in and advocate for thirst all day here. Seeing the 4th card doesn't help if you're only getting one. 25% over 66%. You have more than enough artifacts that you should have something to toss out, netting you two cards instead of the single.  If you want to take first place, instead of 2nd, I would think that thirst is a place to start.

I have no assistance for sideboard because my first  recommendation would be {defense grid} (because I've played Gr Tron for a long time) but you have too many instant speed spells to try and do that.
