How have the bitter blossoms been? I found them lack luster. A card that does nothing the turn it comes down, then gets you a 1/1 flier that has summoning sickness seemed kinda bad to me. I get they can attack under brigde, but they never seemed worth it to me.

I have also never been a fan. They don't help your gameplan at all, I would much rather play more discard.

It's alt win con and they are chump blockers giving me time to lock down the game! Also I know when not to play them!
Depending of banning they may be replaced though. Tempted to run dark confident again!

Is mutavaults not good anymore?

It works best in the packrat variant.
And the 2 power is bad with bridge.

If I have to use a manland I'll use {Blinkmoth Nexus}
As I only need one card in hand and pump up after declaring an attack.

Just a thought that occurred to me:
Modern seems to be rotating at about the same speed as standard with these bannings.

Say you had twin, bannings forced you to change decks, Eldrazi seems broken, play that.
Come the new set, you'll be looking at the next broken deck.
Let's reprint {fastbond} in the next set ;)
Any thoughts (or hopes) that madness may be the next good deck?
for standard yes.

Maybe modern. (Going to brew some up once full spoiler for SoI are out

After taking a break from modern for medical reasons( a shrieking affliction you might say)   I'm back from the veil, and here to stretch my way to tier 1 8rack lol

With the explosion that is eldrazi, I am bring this deck out of the rack and as into the light as I will waste not this chance!

So 4 place in a eldrazi fueled wasteland that is modern tournaments atm.

Eldrazi are a good match up for me!
I get rid of them 2-0 sometimes 2-1

So far tested against U/R, colourless and B versions.

Have only lose one game to U/R as I risked a one land hand.

Check the primers.
What is that

A primer is a guide about deck types.
And how to modify them for different meta, and budgets.

If you go on magic salvation they have ones for every deck type for all formats
This is the one for infect

Wouldn't 8rackdos be better against both torn and aggressive decks? More land hate in red(crumble to dust) and bolts/Kolaghan's command for aggro.

I do some testing on red/black lists!

Never been a fan for some reason! But if they work out I'll make some modifications.

Hmmm now how to side board, with twin and bloom gone?????
Did you ever really need a sideboard for twin or bloom? Those were both solid games for 8rack, especially when running smallpox.

I always use to get beaten 2-1 by them! Even when piloted by new players to those decks! Bloom would get something big of the feed before my bridge or pact me to death!
And twin always top decked into a twin win! Or just best me down after bouncing my bridge!

So happy with this ban!!!! The only two deck I had a stupidly hard time beating are gone!!!
Long live 8-rack :P

And before I get hate, I understand some players don't like the decision! And I hope they find decks they enjoy as much as the ones they just lost!
But I've never Had fun against bloom or twin! A always get beaten in turn 3-4 by them!

How has 2 smallpox been with 22 lands?
It has been known to bite me in the butt sometimes!
But usually it works out fine, they worked amazing in pure black list.

Only becomes a problem if my opponent is running heavy land destruction. As the deck can only deal with a little!
