So if I play a night law shaman. And grab an instant from the opponent, I can't use it if it doesn't have a target? I doesnt just fizzle out??

If it does Dorset that mean I can use the sorcery that makes the target creature deal damage to itself equal to its power on a creepy doll?

Also if I I have two rhox faithmemders on the battle field and use an angels mercy how would that play out??

Can a searing spear destroy it? Or can searing spears deal damage to something indestructible?

If a card says instants or sorccery cost 1 less to play. Does that count for cards that cost one mountain or whatever? I mean can you use it for a land of a certain color?

Do I have to have the vampire creature tokens to play with him?

How can I put a +1/+1 counter on a creature equipped with ring of xathrid if it's equipped only as a sorcery? I thought that means you can only equip it when the stack is empty. Then the ring isn't equipped after that turn like a sorcery?
