I don't know of one off hand, but maybe a creature that can sacrifice other so that you can still sac all your guys if they try to terminus

Brimstone volleys are good for something like this, I would prefer them over dreadbores, moving the dreadbores to sideboard

Gates are fine, especially if youre playing more one drops. The starcity games tourney happened and the top rakdos aggro deck had 4 gates. It doesn't 'slow you down' it just stops the curve of 1 drop > 2 drop > 3 drop, which decks like this don't follow too often anyways

The reasons bonfire was cut are that the main aggro decks, zombies and gw, aren't hurt too bad by it, and it's also not good against control, so it's only good against a few less popular decks. The syncopates are great against control obviously, and also are useful at stopping the finishing spells of zombies and higher end spells of gw. But, if your meta is a variety of other aggro/mid range decks, like tokens or humans, then bonfires are great

{liliana of the dark realms} works well with jarad as you get swamps to keep jarad coming back.

I would cut a land. Possibly 2. I've been testing a similar deck with basically just more spot removal than mass removal and I find the most common way to lose is drawing into lands. Mulch, grisly salvage, and far seek will make 23 or 24 lands enough. I think {abrupt decay}s in some number will be good here to deal with early creatures, oblivion rings on your big guys, and most importantly for sideboard hate like {rest in peace} and {grafdigger's cage}.

What about making it more controlling and adding blue. Using {pristine talisman}, {chalice of life}, {rhox faithmender} with {tezzeret, agent of bolas}. You could also add the two wellsprings and {phyrexian core} package to smooth draws and gain a bit of life. Even an {archangel's light} for lots of life late game. Might need some type of controlling elements with all that, like spot removal and board wipes. Maybe {sun Titan} and {phantasmal image} package. Sun Titan can buy back lots of your card advantage. There's probably more life gain artifacts too, like {trading post}. I know it's a completely different direction with the deck, but the chalice and rhox got me thinking about it.

{Phyrexian metamorph} seems like it would be good. It could copy something on turn 3 and then get flickered later to copy something bigger.
