For Valentine's day, my friend is planning on giving his girlfriend a bunch of Magic cards with flowers in the artwork. However, he's having a hard time finding any. I'm posting for help finding cards with flowers featured in the artwork. They don't have to be any good, it's just for the picture. Thanks in advance.

Playing is it's own reward, I don't expect a participation trophy. I see little point in playing to win in Magic, at a recreational level it's a pay-to-win game, so winning doesn't always reflect on the skill of the player. I know a guy who got into Magic about a month ago and immediately dropped over a hundred dollars into cards. Now he goes around waving his deck full of mythic rares everywhere and considers himself an expert.

I prefer {rolling thunder} to {fireball}, but I could see how it might be harder to get two red mana in your pool.

Here I am with yet another question guys: how do you shuffle your decks? Do you do the straight bridge shuffle or turn the deck sideways and sift sections into it? I'm a bit OCD myself, and I like to deal the cards from my right to left hand, placing one card on top of the new deck, then one on bottom, and alternating until I'm done. It should also be taken into consideration whether or not you have sleeves for your cards (I don't)

My favorite is probably {granny's payback} from unhinged, although {it that betrays} has a pretty awesome text.

So here's the deck I built just for the hell of it, composed almost completely of X mana cards. It's a mana deck, with a completely overbalanced amount of mana. I have very little knowledge of Magic cards, so I picked most of them just by scrolling through looking for X mana cards. So here's my question: what are some good cards that don't require X mana, but are still based upon the amount of mana you have, like {molimo, maro-sorcerer}?

I'm a pretty straightforward Timmy myself. I got into the game fairly recently because my friends all joined the Magic club at school and persuaded me to join. I play for enjoyment, and use a large green-red deck. It's about 100 cards, but I took out all the doubles so I would have a different experience every time I play. All the cards are unique. Winning isn't important to me, I just like to see how powerful I can get my {protean hydra} or {molimo, maro-sorcerer}. I've only sunk about $30 into the game, but I've managed to get some pretty good cards by trading away everything that isn't green or red. Simply put, I'm a noob, and that's the way I like it.

I got both my brothers 200 cards that I ordered online. I don't think they'll ship in time for Christmas though :/

My friend actually had this deck. He had to make a new one because everyone refused to play against it.

Ah, I was having trouble before because I had a filter applied to my search results an couldn't find any mana! Like I said, I'm not the sharpest.
