Why run crosis when you can run {Nicol Bolas}? It is definately more "high maintenance" than crosis, but it's hard to come back from a discarded hand. Not to mention it's freaking BOLAS!

Still waiting for the 5-colour legendary angel that MaRo promised us. I don't care if it says {W}{U}{B}{R}{G}

Legendary Creature - Angel

Flying

5/5

I just want a commander that's fits the theme of my 5 colour deck and angry baby, scarecrow, bahamut, bug face, and Sin don't cut it.

{Forbidden Orchard} tokens don't have flying either...

Copied spell resolves first ( so GY still at 6 ), then the original. That's where we differ.

You will have threshold.

You cast {Epicenter} and put {Mirari}'s triggered ability on the stack.

The copied {Epicenter} resolves first, each player sacrifices a land.

The original {Epicenter} resolves. During resolution you now have 7 cards in your gaveyard assuming you sacrificed a land. Each player sacrifices all lands they control.
Wrong.

Copied Epicenter resolves, opponent sacs a land - since he's targeting opponent.
No Threshold for when the original resolves because a spell isn't put into the graveyard until after its done resolving.

That's what I was saying. He's saying my epicenter spell is in the graveyard. I disagree

But it says target player sacs a land. I'm targeting opponent.

6 cards in graveyard, {mirari} in play. I cast {epicenter}. I copy it. How does this go down? My opponent and I have differing views lol

In a pinch, judges chat can produce results quickly. It has happened to me that a rules enthusiast got the ruling totally wrong, though.

I thought we weren't bringing that up anymore 😉

Have to agree, the number of creature cards she interacts with also seems quite low.  I second the motion. Axe Alesha.

Highly recommend {berserk}. Amazing synergy with COA. Double trample GD and then clear the board at EOT. Also, {altar's reap},  {Diabolic Intent} or any card that benefits you when you sac. Just remember, if you return COA to the command zone, its ability won't trigger. It has to stay in the graveyard to trigger. So graveyard recursion is a must if you want to capitalize on that "blow it all up" ability.

Only in EDH can you grind through 3 hours of "move for move" gameplay, only to have the quiet guy in the corner {hurricane} for the highest life total...

How can all instances of target be satisfied if you opt not to pay the 8. Seriously, wtf people?

Maybe I'm just too much of a purist. That's not how I read it on the card. That's clearly not how it's supposed to work. And you should never get an effect that requires some sort of criteria when said criteria has not been fulfilled. That's just common sense. There's nothing in the comprehensive rules that says I can't reach across the table and literally slay my opponent, but we abstain because it's just sort of accepted that you don't do that.
