I will talk to Nick about possible discounts and international shipping. He is the one doing the design and making those desiscions. My primary responsibilities are event running and some writing withing the site and eventually articles. Im also iniciating a local judge training program for hopeful eventual judges.

Testset stripped, but still active (if he chooses to be)
No, I will ban him after the trial.
Verdict reached before trial is finished. Seems good...

Thanks guys. Dont worry I have a lot going for me that is far more important than this forum. I am active in other magic communities and opening a shop that will eventually release an app that will dwarf this one.

Standard / No more can I offer
February 27, 2014, 10:20:40 AM
Unless something changes I will no longer offer my services here.

This has been a difficult decision to come to since my passion for teaching and love of this game far outweigh my opinions of any one individual. However I can not condone anyone paying for this app only to get banned for using it to it's fullest. Dictatorships are wrong. It has been said that socialism and democracy are terrible things because it is a minority making the decisions for the many. By similar logic I find that allowing any one individual to do is even worse.

PM any mod if you wish to stay in touch with anyone you have liked from the community. As more of us leave you may need to message more than one of us to find an answer. Im sorry for everything I said good about this app pther than the community. The rules links have been getting sloppier and sloppier despite this issue bein pointed out. The server speed has slowed down to a near crawl in anything other than a business internet connection. The life counter is the most widely disliked one I know of. The speed and convience this app once had is long gone and now the community suffers from an individual with far too much power for any one person who can not see his own fault or take genuine advice, concern, or reasoned arguements from anyone else. This could have been the greatest app for magic. There is no recovering from this though. The damage has been done.

A thought

Mentor- when you cast this spell you may put a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control if that creature has a lower converted mana cost than this spell.

Negate is easily the weakest card in the board.

What matchups are the hardest for you?

Youre first opportunity is when they pass priority during the upkeep. Next is the draw step after they draw ({quicken} + {thoughtsieze} great here). Then main phase, attack step after attackers are declared, blocker step after declaring blockers, response to moving to damage (both times if first strike is involved), end of combat, second main, end step. All when you are given priority (which they have to do to change phases).

Those really are great questions to start with.

I also like to start with probably the most important. What is your goal? This usually translates to a more precise question of what are you trying to beat?

They fall under promos. Most of them are player rewards promos

True, but  {Arrest} is better than pacifism.
Better but slower. Most games are over on my turn four or five. Thats not a whole lot of time for {arrest} to make an impact.

Why isn't it octupi on the card?? Now I'm really thrown off by this
MaRo has talked about this, apparently both are completely acceptable. I agree with you though, octupi sounds cooler.
Octupi is actually incorrect by the rules that pluralize. It's greek not latin so octupity is actually the most correct. Octupi has been largely accepted for a long period so it's acceptible. English pluralization is octupuses.

It just so happens I have taken 19 hours of Greek and the proper pluralization in Greek would be octopodes.
That is the correct spelling of what I spelt more phonetically. It is pronounced oct-ah-puh-dees.
