TLDR: So updated the sideboard and took it too FNM going 3-1 was happy with it but just need to be tweaked a bit more.


Added the following
+ 2 {Grand Abolisher}
+ 3 {Torpor Orb}

Round 1, 2-1 vs RWG burn: he had the first game but after sideboarding it made it a lot more balanced game and I just pulled off the win.

Round 2, vs living end 3-0: he was playing the all in version so no interaction game 1 so I just fogged him out and game 2 I had all the
{Faith's Shield} I need to protect the {Isochron Scepter}.

Round 3, vs breach deck 0-3: yeah I was dead turn 2 both games haha

Round 4, vs twin, 2-1: all very close games but I just pulled it out thanks to {Supreme Verdict} both games

Just something I am working on it's been going great in testing but I thought I would share and see what the community thought on it is.

{Thrumming Stone}. Cast your whole deck. Actually cast just enough to make it fatal. Then do it again if they manage to play a sweeper. You'd probably want to bump up the rat count if you took this route though.

In the early stages of the deck I had {Thrumming Stone} but found it way to slow vs most other modern decks.

That surprises me. Good to know though.

Yeah decks like Twins, Living End, Scapeshift and RDW kill you turn 5 so it comes down a little late.

This is honestly a really cool deck! Only thing I would work on, just from looking at it is the mana base. I'd probably knock the {Swarmyard} down to 2, and possibly the {Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth} down to 1-2. Past that, I'd maybe add 3-4 basics or fetches to make up for the Swarms and the Urborgs.

I will give this a go thanks for the input, I may find it hard as the whole reason I started this deck was because of {Swarmyard} lol but will give it a go.

So I just updated the deck and the sideboard, the deck is about the same as it was at FNM but it's a whole new sideboard the one I throw together was just bad so I looked at what deck bet me at FNM then fixed it to what it is now.

At FNM I ended up 5th won 3, lose 1 and draw one.
Round 1 vs mono-black 2-1
Round 2 vs Boros Aggro 2-1
Round 3 vs Green something 2-0
Round 4 vs UW Control 1-1
Round 5 GW bet down 0-2

So hoping it will go better next week

The reason I started playing this was the new Garruk but I am still testing him I am taking it to FNM tonight too see how I go will update then

Deck I have been playing around with I am takin it to FNM this week any thought on the deck are welcome, plus sideborad needs some work haha.
