Sorry, on my iPhone. These post can be such a pain in the ass.
{viashino heretic}
{gorilla shaman}
{ether sworn cannonist}
And I was thinking {Karn, Silver Golem}with the killing lands, not gorilla shaman. But the shaman will still be problematic

Sorry I get bored sometimes and post junk like this. Opposition + squirrels = lock down. Lol as you crush them with giant squirrels. Played this in a Vegas gp qualifier in extended YEARS ago, and only suffered 2 game losses vs sligh in round two and the finals. Played olivier ruel round 3 and beat him 2-0 before the guy next to me had his deck check completed. First to complete in the round. He was NOT happy.

Trygon predator, viashino heretic, hurkylls recall, not to mention the tons of other hate in this format you will be facing. And gorilla shamans turning your art lands into 0/0 and killing them. Ether sworn cannonist is an amazing art creature that will hate hate hate on your opts straight out your main deck. Fix it up lil more protection for your threats, don't be afraid do go a little further back than the last 3-4 years for applicable cards.  Kinda feels a little land heavy as well. Just my .02. Concepts strong, the meats there, but feels like its missing the backbone.

IMO, this deck is junk. Other than price of course. Don't get bent out of shape about it. Not everyone is going to like your deck list. Honestly I don't blame you though. If I had those cards I would do it to, but differently. Lol

I'm not bent about it, it's just that I consider my knowledge of the vintage format generally superior to most mtg players, vintage savee or not. Idk your experience, so not to discredit you but - any "vintage" players know this deck and know its far from junk. It's probably the most consistent build in the format well over 10 years.  Keeper and it's variants have existed forever. And idk about turn ones with raging goblin. Although if it's goblins u want I can show you a neat little trick with food chain to turn one someone. :)

It's very consistent due to the fact you can mulligan down lower than any deck over ever played and still go off. Like mulligan to 4 black lotus, meditate, helm of awakening and any other mana producer can push the deck into flow. It takes a lot of practicing to be able to manage the mana and predict your draws to a degree. One of the few decks that play very solitare like. Not very much anyone can disrupt singularly bc of the ammount of gogo and perenant building. I hadn't played this in years bc worldgorger came around and it took forever for them to restrict entomb and that deck was far far more
Consistent. Also little tip. Always try and meditate as many times as possible and if you need one more turn to kill them, time walk after meditating do you can take another turn. If that walk goes through they're certainly dead. And kaervecks torch is very very hard to stop or predict game 1
How do you {Meditate} as many times as possible?  You mean just cast it every time you draw it, right?

Yes you want to meditate as man times in one turn as possible and walk if you need the extra tun. You don't want to meditate turn 1 two times then stall and give your opponent 3 turns

And what's Mott fanatic going to do to me? Kill my one gorilla shaman so I cant blow up the moxen he likely doesn't have in a mono red deck? Lighting bolt me a few times and have no cards in hand? Sac two mountains and get his fireblast mana drained? What if inside in chalice of the void for 1? Or chill? Propaganda? Blue elemental blast? All regular hatred for r/gbeats. I just don't see sligh getting it done. If you have apprentIce and want to run some games let me know. I'd be more than eager to see how keeper would fair against sligh/goblins/something like that.

Play the deck like a combo deck, get there as fast as possible. If need be you can turtle up and protect your angels till the time is right, or play it early like control and get up welder + sundering titan and abuse their dual lands. Isochron either - final fortune (combo with platinum angel for infinite turns), mana drain ( enough said), ancestral recall, mystical tutor, side in orim's chant and use that or red elemental blast. Get your biggest hate,counter,offense, combo win on board and just pay 2 mana and own them over and over again. And you always got force of will, when all else fails. Everything else in the deck is to get you there or feed force of
Will. Thanks for watching. Proxy/sleeve it up. It's fun, and not as hard to play as some vintage decks may seem.

I honestly don't see this deck winning that much. All I see are all the most expensive cards in the game thrown together with no real purpose.

Well based only on game 1. What decks do you think I have trouble beating? Because I can't think of any.
Speed red, what are you gonna do against an old school {Mog Fanatic} deck. Really

Watch them stall and lose game one. Game 2 sb and win. 2-0. Sligh in vintage is, IMO, not a good idea. I will edit and post a SB if necessary but like i said it would be very meta dependent on what I'm  running. I've played in many shops that have vintage tourneys that have no players with any power at all, maybe FoW and duals at best. My board in that environment would be intensely color and aggro hated. In a prxied tournament maybe a standard board can be comprised. In a legit type 1 tournament, I would have to see the actual players, assume I know what they are going to run and then board forum them and my two worst matchups possible in vintage. Which really aren't any but mirror matches.
