There is a reason it is so much. True in this deck hydra grows rapidly. But it dies easy to removal and you have to start over. Hanger back still dies to removal but when it does you get a group of 1/1 flyers. So boardwipes and spot removal is not as effective to it unless they exile.

As for ither suggestions i would point to the ktk outlast guys who give stuff like DT or flying to creatures with counters.

Yeah I have some {abzan falconer}'s and such I can throw in there. I appreciate the input. I'm working on slowly acquiring a play set of hangarbacks. I know there is a reason everyone and their brother uses them.

This deck needs some work. Half of the cards in here are just too weak to see constructed play.

If you really like counters try {Hangarback Walker} literally cut any 4 cards to put Hangarback in here

I think you're missing the {hardened scales} and {Managorger Hydra} counter boosting abilities. But if you have other suggestions that aren't $20 cards please tell me!

I was thinking of throwing in some {Gleeming Authority}'s though.

I thought about dropping blessed spirits. But then I got it ramped up to an 11/11 by turn 4 last time I played. It's staying. And hangarback walkers would be nice but I'm not dropping that kind of money right now.

Skull cracks?

All those look pretty awesome. I'll definitely pick some up. Thanks

{Smash to smithereens} is a great sideboard card. It isnt really good maindeck since it is only really useful in a couple of match ups. But in those matcups it is an all star so it is definitely worth having access to a couple from the sideboard

Thanks!

Honestly, unless you plan on fixing this up more solid it should be moved to casual. The land base is clunky, there's too many 1 ofs to actually make this deck a threat. Not trying to be harsh whatsoever but this thread is a competitive thread meant for constructive criticism. But if you do want to make it more competitive then you can respond to some of the suggestions at least.

You don't have to comment. Move on.

Any help with my burn deck is appreciated. This is working pretty well for me so far. I know there are some things I can change though.
