But what I was wondering was if I target something like Ulamog's Crusher and make it a sliver; will all of my slivers get the annihilator ability?

so my brother and I have had a rather long lasting dispute about Amoeboid Changeling. With it's tap ability to make a target all creature types; does the target share any abilities it has with any other slivers on the field since the target is a sliver?

Are commander mana abilities usable without my commander being on the battlefield? Ex: Sliver Overlord as my Commander.

Can Ojutai, Soul of Winter's ability be used on a target that is already tapped?

That was what I was curious about. I guess I could have been more clear lol

Does Commune with Lava allow the caster to play any lands that are exiled?

Those are all slivers I want to get; just haven't bought or found any yet. And I know Crystalline stops Overlord from stealing; but like I said in my PM, I usually get a turn 6 or less win. Heart, Galerider, Frenzy/Brood are usually what I manage to get out and then the game is over b/c I swing for like 8-12 points

Lol, kind of. I played 4 games tonight with friends and only lost 1. Never had a chance for overlord/changeling combo as I was always getting Heart Sliver or Galerider/Winged Sliver 😈 and then usually my Brood Sliver. Was a fun night tonight :)

A sliver Planeswalker really doesn't make sense in the lore. It would be cool, but I play against enough slivers to be happy they don't have more fire power. xD

She'd for sure have to start at 3ish loyalty. Dying to {Shock} the turn she comes out is pretty pathetic. :P

I have to agree, lore wise a sliver walker wouldn't make sense unless something was done to address the whole shared traits. Either it makes other slivers walkers or there would need to be some reason why it can't. Also sparks are only found in highly inteligent beings, slivers are instinctual creatures.

If it was real it could be planeswalker-sliver queen. The legend rule checks for the cards name for creatures, and walkers checks subtype. Creatures and walkers will never have an issue. Ex.{Narset}

I understand your point about them being instictual; however, the queen is quite intelligent as Karn was able to speak to her and reason with her to get the Legacy pieces back. And Sliver Overlord is a mutation of 3 or 4 slivers together, making it smarter. Plus, in M14 and M15, slivers had taken on a human like appearance and seemed pretty intelligent to me. So perhaps it could happen in a different set

Doesn't stop Wizards from making it. I'd love to see Slivers vs Eldrazi, but I also love playing against Sliver decks, love to play against hate decks and live challenges. I think the only decks I hate are counter/control. But if magic was meant to be easy, everyone would play it

Well it aint like were "Battle for Zendikar"ing against Bronze Sables, they already own Tarkir and M15 so they settled those two planes...

I never saw quite how powerful Eldrazi can be. I only had 1 card and that was Ulamog's crusher. However, I've been playing Slivers since I first learned MTG so I really think Slivers would win. It would be long and arduous though.

Does anybody know if slivers will be brought back in origins?? Not like they did in m14/m15 but like they were in tempest/stronghold

While this isn't my own card idea, I think it should be shared. The name is Sliver Queen, Brood Mother. She's a planeswalker Sliver 😈 thats costs RUBWG and starts at 1.

+1 - put a 1/1 colorless sliver creature token onto the battlefield.

-1 - Put target sliver card from your graveyard into your hand

-7 - All slivers have either Haste, Trample, Lifelink, Deathtouch, Flying or First Strike


I have always said to my group that if a sliver planeswalker was ever made, I would pay any price for it. And this one doesn't seem too broken lol :)
Also, I would make her archetype something like Planeswalker - Brood Mother so as to not conflict with the legendary Sliver Queen and perhaps raising her start from 1 to maybe 3 so that way she is on par with all of the other planeswalkers in speed. Any other thoughts on it? (Btw, no, she doesnt share abilities with other slivers and they dont share with her)
