I like what this deck has promise to do, but it's definitely clunky at times. Didn't want to make Narset commander since she is really good at breaking the game and Shu Yun seems less inclined to do that. Your thoughts as always are appreciated.

No {Swords to Plowshares}, {Path to Exile} or {Condemn}?

Cards like {Arrest} are very good for tying up people's commanders, either Voltron or utility like {Sliver Hivelord}. You can run {One Thousand Lashes} as well.

Thank you so much for the feedback. Oblivion ring and One Thousand Lashes are not ones I had considered. Swords and Path are a little too expensive money wise for me to want to put in the deck right now. While my play group frowns on cards that tuck commanders, so condemn might not make the cut based on that. All in all great suggestions.

My playgroup plays with, "whenever your commander would leave the battlefield, for any reason, you may instead redirect it to the command zone. This ability can interrupt the resolving of spells like {Cloudshift}."

Nobody likes tucking, I was just throwing it out there as it's a solid card regardless.

Oh, now that is a viable option for sure, and definitely makes sure Cender can never ever deal with my commander. Muahahahaha!

Hey all. My brother, Cender, has been bugging me to join the forums and start listing my collection here. Been playing Magic on and off for years, and only started getting intensely involved during Theros. I also have an EDH deck full of black and white clerics based on the first intro deck I ever bought. I think that alone illustrates the type of player I am. Looking forward to getting more involved here.
