My opponent is attacking me with Village Survivors (4/5 with vigilance).....if I block with sacred wolf, will vigilance still allow village survivors to untap?

Can trample be used while blocking ?.....my opponent has a 1/1 with deathtouch and I blocked with a 3/3 with trample...does trample still work for me?

When it says target creature gets -4/-4 until end of turn.....if I target a creature thats a (let's say) 2/2 will the creature go to the graveyard or just be removed from combated?

My understanding is after battle the turn is over...or have I been mislead?

What is the timing on this card for it to be played properly?

The converted mana cost (or CMC) is the sum of all the numbers and symbols in the cost (top right corner).
