Rules / Re: Moving Enchantment Auras
November 22, 2016, 07:38:43 AM
Just a little fun fact: if you can blink the aura off and back onto the battlefield, you then get to 'choose' another creature to attach it to, which is different than targeting it. This can get around annoying hexproof or shroud creatures to put the aura on them without actually targeting them with a spell.

303.4f: If an Aura is entering the battlefield under a player's control by any means other than by resolving as an Aura spell, and the effect putting it onto the battlefield doesn't specify the object or player the Aura will enchant, that player chooses what it will enchant as the Aura enters the battlefield. The player must choose a legal object or player according to the Aura's enchant ability and any other applicable effects.

On the other hand i believe it could have the potential to live if something such as  {Master Biomancer} was on the battlefield.

Add {cloudstone curio} and another {endless one} for free infinite ETB

You're not going to sell every card, right? You gotta keep those ones that might be worth ridiculous amounts in 5-10 years!!

It's crazy but it's actually been testing well. It's still weak to stuff and the ideal 75 has yet to be found but it's been promising lol

Hey, whoa...I thought Codester1991 had claim to the sentence-ending "lol"s. If anyone can just do it it'll be chaos!

4, tap: create a 1/1 colorless Thopter

What is this "create" ability? I guess it gets around any ETB effects? Or does it just shorten "put a something something on the battlefield"

{thing in the ice} with one ice counter left. I cast {transgress the mind}. Thing transforms, returns all creatures to owners hands, one of which was oppenent's {etched champion}. Transgress resolves, and I choose the champion. Legal?

AS is on top of Dpalm in stack
AS prevents 7, gaining 7
DPalm sees no damage to prevents
Dpalm heads to the grave cause he is board

Why doesn't the second ruling from the gatherer on {Deflecting Palm} apply here? Allowing him to choose which one applies first. He would obviously choose palm to be the first preventer if that were the case, therefore nullifying strike. Am I not understanding that ruling at all?

Active player's 7/7 would go to deal damage.
Apnap delayed triggers Put on stack

Stack is;
Awe strike trigger
D Palm trigger

D Palm resolves first. The damage is prevented and 7 is dealt to the active player.

Awe strike trigger resolves. The damage was already prevented so there is no damage to prevent, and thus awe strike heals for 0.

At least I think that is how it would go.

Did you resolve those in the wrong order?
It looks like there's a ruling on d-Palm that says if multiple damage replacement/prevention effects are at work, the player who would be dealt the damage gets to choose what order they go in. So I suppose the stack doesn't really matter. I could be reading that wrong. Someone double check the rulings?

Gissa and Geralf looks really good.
It has potential. But I have not seen much in the way of good zombies, for standard. And cards like that are only as good as the cards they  Synergize with.

{diregraf colossus} is pretty fun

What does that mean, "'if you both' own and control". Both who? You and a teammate? You and opponent? Could that be fake? I feel like that's fake

I'd love to see the art where Brion throws a darksteel colossus at a poor planeswalker.
