Nope, his creature loses all abilities and becomes a 1/1 frog that is still enchanted by {Invisibility} and so cannot be blocked except by walls

The jest would strip a {Phantom Warrior} or {Triton Shorestalker} of their unblock ability but since here is another aura granting it then it sticks

Thanks.

{B}{B}{3}-exile a card from a graveyard.  You may cast it this turn.  If you don't, gain life equal to its power or toughness, whichever is greater.
Everytime a card enters an opponents graveyard, you may have them lose a life.

{B}{B}{3}: If a permanent is sacrified this turn it is not.  Instead, its owner placs a copy of that permanent onto the battlefield under their control.  Cards discarded this turn may be cast without paying their mana costs.
{R}{R}{3}: choose 5 permanents on the battlefield randomly.  Randomly decide heads or tails, then flip a coin for each permanent chosen. Permanents whose coins land on the chosen side are sacrificed.  Each player then discards 2 cards.

Rules / Re: Jace, the living guildpact's ultimate

You activate Jace's ultimate.

The ability goes on the stack.

Assuming Jace only had 8 loyalty counters, it is placed in the graveyard as a state-based action.

Ability resolves. Jace gets shuffled back into library.

This is correct. Adding or removing loyalty from planeswalkers for their abilities is a COST. (See the colon!) this means that the cost is paid in order to add the ability to the stack. Once the ability is added and the cost paid, state-based checks are made, and will move the Planeswalker to the graveyard if it has 0 loyalty remaining.

So new Jace recycles himself... That's nice.  Thanks everyone!

Rules / Jace, the living guildpact's ultimate
August 08, 2014, 02:49:19 AM
So, if I get {Jace, the living guildpact} to seven loyalty and then activate his ultimate, is he placed in the graveyard before or after his ability activates?  In other words, does his ability reshuffle him back into your library, or does he go to the graveyard after his ability resolves?

Rules / Re: Experiment one

Quote from: Blazingblevins on August 08, 2014, 01:49:19 AM
If I attack with a {advent of the wurm} with {boon satyr} on it, which makes it a 9/7, and an opponent blocks with a {experiment one} with 3 +1 +1 counters on it which makes it a 4/4 and also blocks with a {fleecemane lion}. If he removes the counters from {experiment one} to regenerate, won't my advent live and both his die and the rest trample over?

From the comprehensive rules:
510.1. First, the active player announces how each attacking creature assigns its combat damage, then the defending player announces how each blocking creature assigns its combat damage. This turn-based action doesn't use the stack.
510.2. Second, all combat damage that's been assigned is dealt simultaneously. This turn-based action doesn't use the stack. No player has the chance to cast spells or activate abilities between the time combat damage is assigned and the time it's dealt.

If he doesn't use the regenerative ability before damage is assigned, he will not have a chance to regenerate his creature before it dies.
