I forgot about {Deflecting Palm}. Totally worth a slot or two. {Soulfire Grand Master} is on my radar. Need to clear some slots...

I'm not sure about it competitively speaking but definitely fun for some tabletop play. I was using {roast} but it ended up in the sideboard as my group jumped on the dragon train.

{Mindswipe}?

I love that card. I really do. But it's not good in this shell. Early game I'll be hard pressed to cast it effectively. Late game I have less mana than anybody else. Maybe I'll try one but honestly {Cancel} is more effective 9/10 times.

Maybe find room for {soul fire grandmaster}? Might make {mind swipe} more appealing and those {roast}s that'll eventually go in will make some waves. I run a similar deck but more aggro, honestly I like your build more, but I've won more than half my games with the one copy of {deflecting palm}. Usually surprises opponents. More advantage with grandmaster but at that point, I feel like it'd be more burn than control.

Maybe you could put {master of cruelties} to work.

I was looking at the deck and, while I understand the amulet/bounce land interaction, I'm not sure whether I could use {Kiora's follower} to the same effect.

Is it possible to play the bounce land, {simic growth chamber} for reference, and Untap it with the follower before having to return a land to my hand?

I'm thinkin yes, activating the follower in response to the land's requirement, but I'm unsure.
Even so you can't properly combo off without amulet

I hear ya. I felt a little saddened that I had to think of an alternative. Though, stupidly, I was thinking I'd get four mana and not just two. Oh well.

Yes. While {humility} is on the battlefield, all abilities of creatures are nullified except for replacement effects, ex. {emrakul}'s when it hits the graveyard type effects.

That is correct. Extra turn aside, a 15/15 flying Annihilator is nothing to laugh at..

I could make another  thread if that'd be proper but I'd just like clarification. Does the bestowed creature simply change from aura to creature upon falling off or would that change trigger any possible etb effects, like a {souls attendant}?

Once the creature you've enchanted dies, the enchantment creature returns to it's controller's side of the battlefield.
Example: you've enchanted opponent's {Ulamog, the infinite gyre} with {crystalline nautilus}. Then hit it with a {shock}. They'd sac ulamog and the nautilus would return to your side of the battlefield as a creature.

Good catch with the nautilus. It never occurred to me to use it that way.

Anyone enjoy the Claptastic Voyage DLC? I feel like it raised the game to another level with it. Really liked the new weapons and story. Got my gladiator from lvl 37 to 43 on Normal mode which was a pleasant surprise. If you guys haven't tried it out yet, make sure you pack some corrosive gear.

May I ask why you don't run {collateral damage} over lightning strike? Seems solid to me but maybe your experience can tell me something.

I'm sad that took about 35 minutes to discover. I would hope for at the very least, a week.

You've only ever CAST a card that targeted your guy ONCE. You get ONE guy

I'm not sure what to tell you dude. I apologized for my mistake. :p it's at the top of my second post. You get two fatties with this combo. And I'm happy enough with that. Just wanted to share some jeskai coolness.

I think I got overexcited. My bad. :/ but here's the moves. It's just a fatty. Not a million dudes.

1. Cast Helix on Akroan Crusader and put a 1/1 token into play thanks to Crusader's ability

2. Play Springleaf Drum

3. Tap your 1/1 token and the Drum to float 1 mana

4. Tap your Helixed Crusader to bounce Drum back to your hand

5. Play Drum using the 1 mana you have floating, and then untap all creatures thanks to Ascendancy

6. Repeat steps 2 – 5 as many times as you'd like.

Add a couple {gods willing}. Game.

Here's the link I copied the steps from. Cuz I don't want to be a plagiarizer.
