From my understanding (watching several shows about gambling and slot machines) there is no way a computer can actually "randomize" things.
That's sort of true. Computers use a pseudo random number generator - but for pretty much all purposes related to Magic, it's random.
The reason it's pseudo random is because they use a seed to begin the random number generation. If you know the seed, you can predict all "random" numbers generated by an aolgorithm.
Blaming the shuffler in digital magic is just wrong. Also, it doesn't help to shuffle more in Cockatrice, FYI for those that do that.
Don't blame the shuffler. I'm sorry but when I run a 17 land affinity deck and draw a 7 land hand then a 5 land hand imma call BS. When I run a 25 land deck and go to turn 10 with only three lands that were in my starting hand imma call BS. I understand that that's a possiblility in the realm of randomness but I make damn sure I shuffle better than that IRL.
Sure, the shuffler dealt you that hand, but that doesn't mean it's bad.

Some cards I'd like to know where there going after rotation.
{Dragonlord Ojutai}
{Sarkhan Unbroken}
{Nissa Worldwaker}
{Dragonlord Ojutai} is only seeing Standard and EDH play. I'd honestly expect it to settle around $3-$5 as it'll only see EDH play after it rotates, and the FRF version is better as it actually adds to dragon tribal. There is the Elder Dragon swag factor but still. Do note that foils will retain more value, because EDH.
{Sarkhan Unbroken} is hard to speculate. He'll hold place in any Temur inclusive EDH dragon deck. Otherwise he could end up in a {Dragon Tempest} combo deck but that's not likely to be successful. All in all average Planeswalker price of around $6.
{Nissa Worldwaker} why is she still $18‽ What standard deck is playing her? I know she's seeing some fringe modern play, most notably in {Savour the Moment} Superfriends decks but I honestly don't know why she's worth $18 right now. I'd expect around $6 like Sarkhan and other such walkers. {Venser, the Soujourner}, {Gideon Jura}, ect.

Two {myr retrievers} and a {Heartless Summoning} is kind of just better because it allows infinite storm count

Tell him you beat him how it was played and ifs don't mean anything. Counter his ifs with ifs to shows how pointless it is. He needs to get over himself.

Don't dodge around. Be up front and honest. Make your intentions clear. Be ready to answer lots of question.
Quote from: Kaalia with haste on May 05, 2015, 11:46:58 PMPeep the foil priceQuote from: Rass on May 05, 2015, 10:11:17 PMShe's been creeping up. I traded one away a few months ago at ~$32. It's to be expected from such a popular commander card
{Avacyn, Angel of Hope}??? Been mid thirty's and I haven't noticed? Thought it was half that price.
