Currently building fungus Trimble for the sake of Thelon

Uhh... Can you give a bit more detail? I don't know everything so this just confused me.

So {Thelon of Havenwood} is usually outclassed by {Ghave Guru of Spores} as a fungus tribal deck. My goal is to make a ton of saprolings and then activate effects off of them or just straight kill or go infinite. It's mostly complete now I'm just missing a few things now.

Got second at gameday. Won some m14 packs and the languish. Then pulled a mutavault

I just realised that {Rhystic Study} might not be absolute garbage in here

I don't know, it does draw you many a card, but wouldn't you rather just have another creature to play to bump Animar's counters? Rhystic study also has to come out early, and you want to play your coarser on turn 3 and follow up with a stream of creatures.

While I agree it is worse card draw then {courser of Kruphix}, it is still card draw. There are plenty of scenarios that get you to top-deck mode T4 or 5. This card will give you at least 1, if the next player disenchants it, so there's always value.

First of all is never run courser of kruphix and there are times when I can't t3 Animar due to no real follow up. Rhystic study is also a t4 play when I'm on curve which happens quite a bit. And I wouldn't remove a creature for it if remove a non creature for it

Russian Foil  {Emrakul, the Aeons Torn} From worldwake for 1500€ (that's euro) each on the high end mtg Facebook. I can't even imagine it's worth anywhere near that much but if someone will pay it...

If it's from worldwake I could see how it could be that much

Updated the post to make it all somewhat more readable.

Basic wincon is to stack charge counters on {darksteel foundry}. To achieve that we have a bunch of locks, destruction and a whole toolkit of stuff that uses charge counters.
Toolbox includes infinite mana, destruction, lockdown, land destruction (animate into 0/0), counter lock with charge counters is possible early game.


Needs tuning, I even found a {library of Alexandria} in the list (now removed), but it gives a general idea of what I try to do.

Husk and Haruspex are $.50 and make the deck significantly better. I'd at least play husk since it lets you rally multiple times, which means you don't have to wait for the full kill.

$2-3 to give yourself a way better shot at winning game day seems good.
