thats not the actual problem. Gideons damage will actually be commander damage and count together with kytheons towards 21. Chandras planewalker side wont count because commander damage only counts combat damage.

It will come to a point when your opponents cant lose any more life because they have zero, so the loop will stop. therefore you win.

You can also use it on a spell of yours that would be countered. Or stuff with Cascade, specially if you are playing Yidris EDH for 2 triggers, plus another later. If you combine it with stuff like {Oblivion Sower} or Ulamog as mentioned, you get crazy value!

i think it would be fun putting these decks against other powerful ones from recent standart and I think it would be fun to brew from these sets only  maybe it doesnt catch on as a huge format but i dont think it would be an unfun one

I dont think this answer is right. Her cost doesnt say "sacrifice 2 artifacts other than Breya", and even tho shes dead her ability will still be on the stack and will resolve as normal dealing the 3 damage.

My favorite way of playing is at the end of turn fetch Bladewing and Atarka. Reanimate Bladewing and get Atarka with him and fetch Draco and activate Bladewings ability a couple of times. Thats a one shot kill. If someone is left after that Moltensteel deagon, pay the life necessary to win

id suggest  {Draco} and  {Moltensteel Dragon} as you can kill people with one shot with those. (Draco if you have Atarka out). I also suggest more reanimate cards, especually instead of Gravepurge and Palace Siege. Maybe you dont need so many deagons either since you are tutoring them. You'll find that most of the game you are always tutoring the same ones. I dont know how you ramp is but Mana in this deck is super important. I have a ton of green sorcery mana fixers and ramp to go as fast as possible.

Cloudshift would not save his originally exiled items.

this is because Cloudshift would bring you dragon as a new dragon, not the originally cast one. so you would again lose all your pernaments, but once the dragon left the battlefield now you would get only the recently exiled cards back, not the original ones.

they were smart to notice a lot of people not playing standard because of that and applied a quick fix. I like their urgency in fixing athe mistake
