Just try it.  I pilot this IRL and it can beat the Tier 1 decks especially if it wins the roll.  Let me go first game 1 and I have chance to go 2-0 or 2-1 and take the match.

Once you figure out to ghost quarter them every turn with crucible of worlds you really stop most shenanigans.  I've beaten control blue this way.  I've stopped zoo and Merfolk.

I say Merfolk is one of the hardest matchups for me.
