Does anyone know how much Tezzeret the seeker in Japanese (regular)  is worth? I can only find a price on the foil

If the card safe passage (which protects you or your target creature from all damage for that turn), if that card was played against a card that could destroy a creature (an enchantment to destroy target creature), would you be able to protect that creature? Logically if your card is destroyed, that means said card was hit for more than what the toughness was for that said creature. So, does safe passage protect it or does it not work because of the "destroy" part of the card attacking the creature?
