UWR control !  {Electrolyze} is my fav card and everyone loves  {Celestial Colonnade} !!
I play it because I love long grindy games with lots of interaction

But you get more hands with 4-5 drops instead of 1-3 drops to secure your early game, adding the combo is great if you see tron, boggles and other hard noninteractive matchups but against allot of decks your just giving them less of a hard time and more targets for their removal. Having said that, resto angel is darn good and with a wall they cycle D: suu much vuluuuuue. I prefer the full control build ( I use 3 snapcaster 1 keranos, colonnade, U.factory, burn ) as my wincons but I have played pretty much every UWR archetype under the sun. Does anyone think white sun's zenith is playable? Instant speed cat-zomiting could be cool ??

Fair fair ! And I guess even if the UUU was annoying you could use a mystic gate or something.

I've tested logic knot main board instead of the last leak and am really lovin it, it's only worse than leak turn 2 and it just ends up not dead. I mean there is nothing worse turn 9 top decking a leak xD but knot is awesome and nobody plays around it. Has anyone tried izzet staticaster? Is it legit?

Yeah, it's a metacall, if you have merfolk, delver tempo decks get that verdict, if you see thrun around wrath no question :)

Modern / Re: Why isn't Cruel Control a thing?

Sure grixis has terminate but remember path is just 1 mana, but remember grixis has no lightning helix, without the additional burn it doesn't always have the reach, I personally love cruel control but without the path, bolt, helix, lyze core as opposed to say bolt, terminate, pact, lyze core I think it's a lil rough, granted terminate as opposed to path doesn't nombo with leak its spell snareable and easier to be mana leaked ! I'm not saying its not viable I'm just saying it would take lots of meta-calling and practise with the deck to place well with it. Also another thing is the sideboard, perhaps the best part of UWR and why it is as good as it is is because of its sideboard. I'm not sure what grixis sides but it better be good to keep up!

I would suggest shaving the 4th T.edge, it's not necessary unless your meta is all manlands and super greedy color requirements. Something like Urza's factory has always worked wonders for me in that spot, but a desolate lighthouse is pretty useful too. Or even another coloured land, cryptic is triple blue afteral and you'll want RW somewhere for a lightning helix in the meantime

I think this is Mclaren's PT born of the gods winning list

I play a similar build, I could suggest relaxing the fourth mana leak with a logic knot ( different name similar function) and shaving the last helix for a fourth bolt, staying alive till gifts is crucial and having a play t1 often saves you the three life :) I also wish to ask how good the godo-skull plan is, I have not tried it myself

Modern / Side boarding advice

I play a rather typical UWR control deck and consistently play against affinity , boggles and death and taxes. What kind of sideboard ing plans are there that are good against these decks ? Stony silence is awesome but I am not sure about the boggles and the D&T any advice would be appreciated !!!

{Bitterblossom} could be good ! Maybe a singleton izzet charm? It isn't amazing on any mode however most early fliers have 2 or less toughness and being able to counter a spell can be relevant fr example a sphinx's revelation or a splinter twin !
