i started halfway through Theros block and I've played every prerelease since BotG and I won my first prerelease today! I went 4-1 and ended in 3rd with Ojutai in my first tournament with an insane deck with Dragonlord Ojutai, Citadel Siege, and Mastery of the Unseen while going 4-0-1 to win the second tournament with Kolaghan with dash and a crapload of removal. Got a Narset from one of the packs I won! :)

So I decided to pick up the Theros holiday gift box from target today cause I never got one when it first came out. Ended up getting thoughtseize, nykthos, temple of abandon, and an ember swallower :)

Also drop a Jace for another Elspeth

I ended up getting the card that let my lands tap for any color as long as I played my entire card pool. I ended up with a 70 card deck and needless to say it was one of the most fun drafts I've ever done.

Some guy at my lgs opened a foil exploration and a Dac Faden and used his cogwork librarian to take them both

I really don't like the sylvan caryatid or the mutavault. You need the forests for creatures and caryatid can't attack. I'd say drop caryatid for swordwise centaur. It's a weaker kalonian tusker but it's a big guy and adds 2 to devotion.

This isn't Boros burn, it's a bad version of Boros aggro. Don't focus on creatures, go for spells over creatures. Have 4 ash zealot and 4 Chandra's Phoenix and the rest burn spells.

Just proxied out a version of high tide I found online. Time to take it to my lgs and test it out :)

At fnm tonight we ended up in an 8 man draft and I went 2-0-1 with a black green deck and out of the Rochester pool I got the foil courser of kruphix I drafted. Me and the other undefeated ID'd in our last match to guarantee 1st and 2nd and he won so I got second pick.
