Perhaps, then, it might be time to let someone else take over the app and it's development? I'm not trying to insult or anything, but if you don't have the time to do it, perhaps someone else will. Seems to me that an app that only updates yearly, especially one with database updates that you have to pay for(unless the app patches) is a bad business model. Especially for those of us who paid for the app, and then had the payment model changed on us. Most businesses offer to at least grandfather you in at your existing rates. But hey, it's your call.
