Modern you get Wakethrasher and Judge of Currents. Both merfolk.

I like the ideal, however it is far too early to speculate.

-1 swamp and plains. +2 Temple of Silence. -2 rig & -1 priest. +3 Mutavault.

With 10 4 CMC I would highly suggest running 24-25 lands.

The only color you really worry about turn one is blue. You will not be playing much until turn two most times anyway.

Chained to the Rocks over Pacifism. Skullcrack in your sideboard. 3 of should be fine.

Boris charm somewhere in your 75. This deck bows out seriously to Anger of the Gods.

Ashiok is a great card in the deck. It's a pseudo Nephalia Drownyard, that eleviates mana for bigger Sphinx's Revs late game. 5 loyalty off the bat is hard to beat for aggro decks, depleting them of cards to take care of it. Able to steal chump blockers from the aggro opponent. Works really well into the curve. Being able to resolve this turn 3 against aggro opp then follow up turn 4 Supreme is pretty back breaking from there for aggro opp.

7 6 CMC cards with only 24 lands. No Jace AOT. Not a huge fan.

Drop the Mimic for Biomass Mutation. This will give you something worthwhile to spend shrine mana into. Not mention being a great way to make your 1/1's huge.
