The new Izzet legendary seems interesting  definitely not a solid commander but a pretty sweet "one of the 99" for an izzet deck. Also, it's a red/blue merfolk so that's cool. Tribal leader.... making merfolk the 4th creature type besides goblin, spirit and human to be in all 5 colors

I feel like there is more than 4 as well, warrior is one off the top of my head as well

So I really enjoy playing the deck, the issue I have ran into is if there is any way to prevent the amazing top decks. Can we control those at all? Lol

Just be careful playing  {abrupt decay}. Sometimes it is a dead card and with {ensnaring bridge} on the field your goal is for both players to be in top deck mode. If you are playing {abrupt decay} sometimes the only way to get it out of your hand is to cast it on your own stuff or target yourself with {thoughtseize} ect, or with liliana's ability. In the mean time they could attack you for a few life points. I almost lost a game once with an empty hand and {ensnaring bridge} out because  {noble heirarch} just laughs at that.

Switched to rakdos with splash in sideboard for enchantment destruction for those pesky {leyline of sanctity}

I use white as the splash colour for disenchant and leyline of sanctity in the sideboard. That also lets me run path to exile. I also play creatureless as i think that is the best build. Just my personal preference though.

Can you bump your list? The white splash sounds intriguing

I really like {Mutavault} just as a blocker to noble hierarch and other small things

Can somebody explain the difference between {stasis snare} and {journey into nowhere} besides one of them having flash? Why does one exile and one doesn't? What wording am I missing?

Hey guys, just need a quick clarification. Say I have 9 lands on the field, and I cast and {oblivion sower}. My opponent plays {clash of will} countering it unless I pay 4. Would the upon casting ability resolve before the clash of wills? If I hit an untapped land out of their deck can I use it to pay for the clash of will?

Got any tips for playing? My friend built it for states tomorrow and hasn't even play tested lol
