Lord of Extinction has a nasty interaction with Jarad later in the game. I've been on the receiving end of this.

Yeah, I think it might be bad for commander as well, though I'll have to see how it plays out. I guess I'll just be running more board wipes and tuck effects now.

I understand EDH is a casual format but when you proxy cards so your ok deck becomes a monster then I have a problem, and so do the people I play with. Rule of thumb if you want to proxy and play a deck just to dominate and demoralize your opponent then you've missed the whole point of the format.
Very good points, and probably a good set of rules to go by. I think when you go super spike and make a monster deck you are playing a different game than i likeanyhow, and I wouldn't want to play you, proxies or not.

I'd cut typhoid rats for sure, and maybe shave 1 off a few other things. Maybe throw duress into the sideboard?

Yeah when every card they play is a $40 plus proxy and its even worse when it's a piece of paper that says "steam vents" in a sleeve.

Shall I just proxy black lotus and all the p9 with it? Oh let's not forget a JtMS also. Hey Burning wish; grab my spare tarmygoyf or my spare black lotus. 😑

What's the point of me even attempting to make a deck with my own card pool if everyone is going to use cards they don't have!
Again, the cards you are mentioning are either broken/oppressive, or illegal in commander. The problem isn't that they're using proxies, it's what they're proxying, IMO. There's also a difference between all proxies and a few.

Edit: burning wish doesn't grab either of those cards, anyhow, lol.

You really should wait for the full set spoiler to brew. I'm all for working on decks with the new set, but there are a lot of cards left to be spoiled, probably including more slivers.

I don't usually use proxies much myself, but I don't really mind if someone else does. As far as just making ridiculously powerful, broken decks-those aren't fun to play against anyway, proxies or none. I don't think that advantage in a casual format should simply go to who has more money.

If you're staying budget, use rolling temblor.

As a junk rites player, I can confirm that bonfire is really good against me, even hard cast

Also, skullcrack seems bad outside of burn decks or RDW. Opponent gaining life off sphinx's revelation isn't the problem, it's the cards they draw. More counterspells would probably be better in their place(dissipate or counterflux?)

Oops hit send lol. Travis woo's list runs 27 lands. You should have at least 25.

I like the mind grind. Seems neat. Def need sweepers, either main or side. Maybe rolling temblors?
Obviously, only having basics makes your deck a LOT weaker, but I guess the lanterns will help, since it looks like you're trying to keep it budget.
The augurs seem good for digging, as well as blocking early on.
I don't like the prisms, but they may be necessary since you don't have shocks or taplands, I guess

Lol I picked dimir and got all of 3 cipher cards, and each of my booster packs had a rare from a different guild. Had a hilariously bad pool, overall. Did get Borygormos, but he wasn't exactly playable in my pool. 8 mana wasn't happening, lol
