If I cast (Jarad's Orders) to pull out 2 (Demigod of revenge) can I still use demigods ability when I play it even thought the one in the graveyard was never on the battlefield?

If I am attacking with something that has trample and the blocker assigned to it has deathtouch but can't block all assigned damage does the trample damage go through before deathtouch takes effect or does the attacker die?
