I made a very similar control deck, and I found that steam augury will lose you too many cards. I prefer to have hard draw like divination and inspiration. Also, aetherling is a must, especially when you play against control, and they get rid of your very few creatures. Prognostic sphinx I found also gave huge advantages. Scrying three per attack and with a large amount of drawpower you can protect is easily.

To me, in jund, Xenagos the god outclasses mogis, i would use at least one more Xenagos and put mogis in the side to deal with control. Xenagos just works so well with des demon or any other big creatures.

Maybe flame-wreathed Phoenix or stormbreath dragon?

With such a high mana curve I'd do 22-23, even with mana ramp

Would definitely invest in {Ætherling}
I despise that card. I know its good, but for some reason I can't stand it.

Any particular reason why? I run a cheap izzet control deck, and Aetherling is the best way to win if your opponent is sporting removal that got backed up in their hand from the lack of creatures you play that they can remove.

Really like the idea, but your mana curve is relatively low, so you probably don't need 24 lands. Also quicken doesn't help much, because all your spells are Instants. You could replace it with maybe shock, for some nice burning.

And fabled hero could work well, and have an easy double strike
