Modern / Re: Golgari Midrange

This is actually more casual than modern. Just put this together; I'm going to hold out on purchasing cards until BNG is released just in case they have anything that works well in Golgari. Please share any tips you have that can make this deck more powerful.

Could you pull an Ashiok too...

I actually did pull one from the same box lol. 1 booster box: 8 mythics (1 foil, 2 Ashiok)

Off-topic, but just wanted to let everyone know that I just pulled a Heliod and an Erebos in the same pack. Oh, and the Erebos was foil. :))))))

For my Sliver build I used basic naya lands and added 4 {Chromatic Lanterns}. With those and the Manawefts, you'll be good to play {Syphon Sliver} and Galerider over 75% of the time.

There's now intense speculation that one of the iconic monsters in Theros will be a Mythic Sliver. Going to be interesting to see how that plays into new sliver builds.

No need for the Sliver Constructs in this deck. You can just add two Blur Slivers and Steelform Slivers to the deck so you're getting buffs with the same attack/toughness as the Constructs.

I think u meant to title it "m14 sliver deck" not "m14 silver deck"
They told me I couldn't name it that and I figured everyone would initially read it as "sliver deck" anyway

I don't think Mutavault is worth the price. Those 4 cards would double the value of the deck and not really contribute much. I'd rather stick with the odds of getting out basic lands, a Manaweft Sliver and/or a chromatic lantern in order to make my big moves. While a major point of the deck is to put out lots of slivers, the primary objective is to buff the slivers. Hive Stirrings does the job of getting out slivers in numbers, and as the second poster stated, Mutavault is just a distraction from the purpose of the deck. If it gave you 1 mana of any color it would be a different story, but like you said, it is only useful late-game once you have enough mana to cast your slivers.

I keep Galerider and Syphon in my deck but just use Nava colors. Throw 4 Manaweft and Chromatic Lanterns in the deck and you'll probably be able to play the two. I also put Aurelia, the Warlord in my deck as a buff.
