This is my first stab at a post rotation U/W control. I'm really drawn to void snare for some reason lol. I don't buy into the whole BUG is the new esper control theories just yet and I think esper control builds are very weak to aggro decks right now without revelation. Let me know what you think. Sideboard will be pretty standard depending on metas.

I used to run 2  {Quicken} main in my U/W deck. As for flare and charm- most opponents are smart enough not to attack with ghost daddy if you represent either of those cards and yes quicken got him every once in a while but just not as reliable of an answer as I want. Again thank you very much and who knows after I play these three events with this deck I may go back to U/W but right now I'm really looking for input on this deck. Thank you

Thanks for the input. I like izzet charm bor it's early burn against aggro + draw 2 cards/discard too if you are flooded or w/e can also be a nice answer to and early thoughtsieze or trying to slam a domri turn 3. Yes azorius charm is never dead I just think there are more upsides to izzet charm. Also I think 3 jace instead of essence scatter may be right too.

My main issue with U/W was playing against orzhov control decks. U/W just has very little answers for  {Obzedat, Ghost Council}. And it seems to get torn apart by other  {Thoughtseize} decks. Also the control mirror would almost always end in a draw at local event. I have been playing different U/W builds since theros came out and I think UWR is the way to go

I guess it depends on what piles you make for your opponent. My main issue with it was that it's 4 cmc and without play testing it I didn't know if it would be more or less "clunky" than divination. Thanks for the input!

Ok so I'm going to be running his deck at 3 events this week. I was playing U/W and this looked better lol, but I need some input on a few cards. What charms should I run? I see most people run  {Azorius Charm} but I just feel like  {Izzet Charm} does so much more! At the moment I have it at a 3/2 split.

Also I have concidered dropping  {Divination} and trying out  {Steam Augury}.

I have also wanted to run  {Render Silent} in place of  {Dissolve}. I know some people think the card is useless but it feels so great to  {Render Silent} a  {Thoughtseize} on turn 6 when they think   {Obzedat, Ghost Council} is coming out or when G/W tries to bait a counter spell with a  {Gladecover Scout}. As of now I'm running dissolve but let me know what you guys think.

 {Mistcutter Hydra} and  {Desecration Demon} should be sideboard.  {Domri Rade} is an awesome 3 or 4 of.  {Golgari Charm} instead of  {Gruul Charm}. I run 4  {Sylvan Caryatid} and 2  {Gyre Sage} along with  {Corpsejack Menace} as a 4 of in this deck. Then 2  {Savageborn Hydra} and 2  {Scavenging Ooze}. I like  {Ruric Thar, the Unbowed} in sideboard too. Then another 4 kill spells of ur choice ie: dreadbore, doomblade.

Just an idea. Sideboard is mostly for control matchups. Maybe  {Domri Rade} instead of  {Garruk, Caller of Beasts} ? Idk any input is appreciated. WC is obviously exava into kalonian hydra, essentially being an 8/8 haste on turn 4 or 5 then so on
