Wouldn't that be illegal? I thought you miracle during your draw step when you draw it, not your main phase..

Sideboard

Hey guys, I could use some help improving this deck. This is my first EDH deck and I've been messing with it on Cockatrice for the last two days. It seems to do ok if given the chance, but I've been playing 3-4 player games only, and people usually focus on me the most, even when my board presence is the worst. It's got a few combos in it, mana ramp and stuff, and just things I've picked up from other players, as this is my first leap out of standard and newer cards.

Tips and improvements are appreciated.

I'm not sure I like the token makers here. The point is to attack alone, so they would do nothing besides being chump blockers. Using them to stall might buy you a turn or so, but you lose a turn casting them. They play well with sublime archangel, but I don't think it's worth including them. Not sure how I would replace them. Maybe some creature enchantment or equipment.

Not sure if this really works for you, but just tossing out ideas to toy with... If you run vault, you'll have white mana. In this case it might be appropriate to toss in {Loxodon Smiter}, no? You can use loltroll to discard it to simply play it... And even do it at instant speed, basically giving the Smiter flash.

IGNORE THIS. I need to learn to read. It has to be an ability from an opponent =/

How about {Beast Within} for possibly turn 2 land destruction? And perhaps {Roaring Primadox} and {Manic Vandal} to destroy stuff for 3 mana each turn? Just tossing out a couple of ideas.

Actually having second thoughts about the deck. I like what I saw on starcity, but relying on the craterhoof seems hard and even though there's other stuff, I'm starting to feel meh about it. Too hard to use him and all without having most creatures tapped out.

What do you guys think? It's slightly inspired by what I saw on starcity, plus something I've been considering for a couple of weeks. I'm thinking I might give this a try at fnm. Only missing the green suns. Any suggestions? Reason for the beast within and 4 acidic slimes is for possibly destroying lands in an attempt to slow the opponent, or destroying threats if needed. All suggestions are welcome.

You have 8 dismembers. What about replacing 4 with 4 {blood artist}? Makes flipping bloodline keeper easier. Also replacing at least 2 mutilate with {killing wave}. That way you don't kill the few features you have and deal lots of damage to the opponent if they don't sac, and even if they do if you have 1-2 blood artists out.

I actually put together a b/g infect a few days ago and used lots of boosts and apostles blessing and rangers guile. I used two livewire lash but also three {wild defiance}. So beautiful. Can swing for like 13 poison on turn 3 in the air.

Also go for the throat is better than murder, while its legal. In addition to sign in blood, I run 2 {ghoulcaller's bell}. Reason is, not only does it help to get black on top for nocturnus, but it also helps manipulate what you draw next since you can see your top deck

I have something similar. Just a heads up killing wave is beautiful if you have like 2 blood artists out. You deal massive damage whether they sac or not and gain a bit of life.

Also with volt charge, consider x2 {Chandra, the Firebrand}. Possibly throwing in {Tezzeret's Gambit} for her -2 also.
