I had no idea I could reset the database that way. It fixed it for me too!!! :D THANK YOU SOOOOOOO VERY MUCHO!!!!!1!1

Reinstalling will remove all data from phone, and I haven't been able to use my computer to sync my iPhone because it's broken.

I'm having the same issue, several different card sets; agreed to update my database upon launching the app but was still able to access my deck lists. I was creating a Kaalia EDH deck and looking up non-basic lands from Innistrad to Gatecrash when the app froze after trying to add one to my deck. Started working again after about a minute (or so I thought), but after a bit I noticed that it was acting like it was adding the cards I chose after that happened to my deck, but they wouldn't show up. I closed the app and shut down every app running on my phone, and when I reopened it, poof! Most of my cards are null. Restoring decks from backup doesn't work, and when I foot update my database, it says it's up to date, then says "version check failed". I had some very important deck lists on there that I do not wish to lose by reinstalling. :(
