Quote from: Ieatfood7 on January 24, 2016, 11:55:13 PMI think both are secure investments, honestly my modern cards have gained more value compared to legacy, but legacy has remained consistently high. I saw lots of extreme emotional reactions from people who were unhappy with the bannings... And sure it sucks to have your deck banned but I wouldn't say it matters from a financial standpoint. Splinter Twin may be worthless but all the other staples of the deck haven't lost value.
I heard a lot of people (probably exaggerating) talking about moving out of modern and into legacy, since they don't feel like they can trust modern as a legit "non rotating" format. I doubt anyone sells out of modern but a couple people did actually start buying into legacy that I know because of the banning.
Any of you having similar thoughts? We discuss this with Alex from Masters of Modern on the next episode of our podcast.
