This looks confusing. How quickly can it consistently win?

It's been two weeks and I still haven't received anything. Any update?

Here's my two cents:

Cards you should be playing: {Cryptic Command}, {Path to Exile}, {Mana Leak}, {Spell Snare}, {Snapcaster Mage}, {Vendilion Clique}, {Scalding Tarn}, {Misty Rainforest}, {Arid Mesa}, and maybe a {Batterskull}

Cards you shouldn't be playing: {Isochron Scepter}, {Pacifism}, {Oblivion Ring}, {Sundial of the Infinite}, {Mimic Vat}, {Glimmerpoint Stag}, {Silence} mainboard

And again. Send, goshdarnit.
I don't think he's coming back to the forums... If you want justice, have someone who has his address write a letter to his parents.

Modern / Re: why is this card good

Living end is a deck based around cycling a bunch of creatures like {Monstrous carabid} and {street wraith}, then using {violent outburst} or {demonic dread} to cascade into {living end}, the only card in the deck with a cmc under 3 mana.

It slows down your opponent without losing you any card advantage and costs 2 mana. 3-mana counterspells are not very playable, but this stops your opponent from doing what they wish to in a timely manner and has good interactions in counterspell wars and against flashback cards.

Rules / Re: Legendary Enchantment Creatures

Any type of Legendary Creature can be used as a commander. Using {Thassa, God of the Sea}, for example, is perfectly valid. If you think about it, it's no different than using a Legendary Artifact Creature like {Karn, Silver Golem}

Pod tech vs. Pod Need
Resilience vs. Reliance.

Pick your poison.
Biggest problem with Kiki-Pod is that it's still a creature based combo deck. With the rise of UWR with its 8 Bolt/Helix and PtE, it's hard to go off. I agree that Melira is slightly better ATM.

Isn't Melira a creature based combo too?
For Melira, the combo is more of a form of pressure than the main wincon. Melira usually makes sure our opponent can't tap out by threatening combo, but beats down in the end.

I may be biased as a melira player, but I'd say that Melira not only has more resilience, but also is better primed for the current meta.

Rules / Re: Fuse
February 22, 2014, 01:19:40 AM
It's one spell, called a fused split spell:

702.101a: Fuse is a static ability found on some split cards (see rule 708, "Split Cards") that applies while the card with fuse is in a player's hand. If a player casts a split card with fuse from his or her hand, the player may choose to cast both halves of that split card. This choice is made before putting the split card with fuse onto the stack. The resulting spell is a fused split spell.

I like Blue Moon, but I'll always be a pod player at heart. There's a weird Melira list that runs {Knight of the Reliquary}, so I'm going to go with that.

Glad we have the section to resolve things.
