Title: Star wars by Decipher
Post by: RevanJJ on August 05, 2012, 02:53:10 PM
Anyone remember this game?? For awhile it was even competing with MTG. I have thousands of them from when it was popular and we were playing tournaments.

The nostalgia has kicked in...who misses Scrye Magazine? I miss it! Was fun to read

My mom had a box that came with two decks and everything to start playing. I wanted to learn how to play but we never took the time.

It was really fun, but they killed it with too many sets, then revision sets, things like that. Was a unique take on card games by using your creatures to control areas and drain the opponents life Force aka deck

Had tons of those cards that I sold recently. I had some good stuff like Han, Luke, Leia, Millenium Falcon, etc. I got $20.00 on eBay. Sad because I had spent hundreds on the game.

That's why I won't sell them spent so so much $ on it and to only get so little would be depressing

I had the complete Dagobah set. Never played, always collected.

I collected Dagobah because it had the bounty hunters.

It's my understanding, from people who played, that deck manipulation ruined all of the good parts of the game.

Yes as we'll as repeated iterations of same cards u bought 3 months before, ruining the value. Example : Darth Vader in first set. Then came Vader. Then Vader with Lightsaber. Then Sith Lord Darth Vader. On and on with main characters like that
