Title: transforming card question
Post by: UltimateArtifacter on August 04, 2012, 11:29:55 PM
I have a card that transforms and I was wondering a way to hide the transformed part of it since it doesn't say magic, is there a way to hide it if I don't get it in my opening hand?

Card sleeves or innistrad block had wonderful checklist proxies with the mtg backing.

Use basic lands or other cheap cards and write on them what they should be.

I don't understand what you mean by that exactly

Take a land. Take a sharpie. Proceed to write transforming card's name and CMC onto land. Shuffle into deck. Continue playing normally.

If they're the ones with symbols on it they come in packs of 80 in my experience. I much prefer the solid color ones because they're cheaper, you get 100, and they're easier to shuffle because the ones with symbols are made differently.

Ultra pro has a huge line of sleeves.  Places like Walmart sell the basic solid color sleeves too , in packs of 50 ... Or find a local gaming store and see what they have.

I would recommend getting the sleeves with solid color rather than artwork, as the sleeves with artwork on them tend to be sticky and have sharp edges (they can really hurt).

Yes, they do. Buy a pack, put some cards in them, and rub the deck along your skin - ouch.
