Whats everyone's favorite single color deck to run? Why? I love my black discard deck that I have, so much fun to limit the choices they can make, then drop some zombies down and call it a day.
Mono {B} vampires all the way! They are just so much fun to use. Getting a couple {Vampire Nocturnus} out with 2-4 {Bloodghast}s is crazy! Then throw a {Bad Moon} or two out and you have all kinds of fun. Then you can use {Gatekeeper of Malakir} to keep their board slim and get free reign to attack. Throw in some {Bloodlord of Vaasgoth}s or {Bloodline Keeper}s just for good measure ;)
Mono black. My first deck was mono black (vampire onslaught event deck), and I am currently making the switch from junk to mono black for FNM.
I figured it will be more my style, plus with shock lands being reprinted, I do NOT want to spend a hundred bucks just to make my mana base competitive again. :p I'll just stick to my special army of graveborn basics!

No kidding! With dualies and shock lands, it is just not worth it to build a multi color deck lol. Too expensive $-wise

My first deck as well!
Mono-red
Mono Black Control. No tribal, unlike my other decks. Simply Mono Black, every Standard Legal, broken Mono-Black card, with very heavy discard.
Mono Green mana rampy/ trample. Whenever I pull it out to play there's always a "Aww y that one" or 2 :)
Mono Red. Crisp everything that attacks until I can hit them with a fireball. Or better. (Non-standard)
Mono red goblins was my first deck and I've adjusted it whenever new goodies are released
Mono, drumroll please... Blueeee!
Mono white life gain :3

Sorry, Coffee. Not trying to be harsh, but several of us have tried to help him with his decks already. He's posted and reposted his Nicol Bolas deck repeatedly on multiple threads. We provided plenty of advice and suggestions (more than most other decks ever receive), but he seems to want us to do all the trimming for him. Scars even submitted a 60-card version and he didn't go for it.
Scars, Quack, and I have all suggested he ease up on the spamming and reposting. Now he chimes in on a discussion saying "check this one out" and it links to yet another deck he wants help with. I'm just exasperated, man. I love teaching people, but this guy wants us to do all his work for him...
