I recently posted a link to one of my recent conquests under standard where i showcased my personally drawn custom mat. This got me thinking, i should ask here on the forum for ideas for my next mat which ill be picking up this friday and drawing sometime before RtR. Im thinking {Thundermaw Hellkite}, but would like any and all sugestions for alt arts of standard cards, preferably related to my deck in some way.
Have the lich bringing priest back with thundermaw in the background.
Well if you are leading towards hellkite, I think you should draw thunderclaw hellkite spraying fire on all of the titans, who are either cowering in fear or running around in terror. ;D

oh my god i think you nailed it! have a burning isect and bird of paradise. Im thinking at this point maybe an {overrun} style picture with {inferno titan} on the ground and {thundermaw hellkite} in the air.

Now here is the trick, i need to win fnm playing the mat so they post the match instead of just posting it somewhere the easy way.
So i made a quick sketch, it features {insectile abrasion} and {birds of paradise} getting hit by flames as though they were running in the foreground. The jaw of {thundermaw hellkite} is between and aboce the fliers opened wide and his body covers most the top. {inferno titan} can be seen in the lower left side as though rising to charge from a sea of flame.
I cant figure out how to post the sketch on here from my iphone though.
Started the new mat this morning. It's coming along nicely, but unfortunetly i only got 3rd both flights today and couldnt showcase even the unfinished mat.
Maybe next week.
Turn 3 {bonfire of the damned} for a billion made up for all of today's short comings.
