Just a simple question. I love {Etched Monstrosity}, have never gotten around to using him properly due to his 5 colour ability.
I've just been lazy and not put a 5 mana deck. I had him in a Myr deck that could have done it but took him out when culling for size (as I realized I only had him in to do his ability, therefore a waste of space). I have considered removing counters through with something like {Fate Transfer}.
Has anyone got him out and removed his -5/-5? I'm not asking how, I can think of many ways to get him out at 10/10, I just wanna know someone HAS used him!

Yes! ✊✊ two fist pumps! I was also thinking ally deck! I also have him in mind for a 5 colour artifact/scarecrow deck, utilizing {Reaper King}.
Could you post your Ally deck one day? I love seeing how a good Ally deck can work.

Use it with mylia sylvok outcast. She prevents your creatures from having -1/-1 counters. If she's on the field and you play etched monstronsity, you got a 10/10 for 5.
Ready for it:
{Etched Monstrosity} + {Paradise Mantle} + {Sinking Feeling} = Infinite Card Drawing!
And, since it's "target player", you can kill people with it.

It's there. It looks bad but plays fine. It could use more work though. With all my ramp mana isn't that much of a problem.
