{melira Sylvok outcast} and {etched monstrosity}. This is a pretty sweet combo that jdogtoocool asked a question about in rules. Thought it deserved to be in combos.

This has already been confirmed several times on these forums. People have built combo decks abusing the fact she returns persist creatures without the -1/-1 counter. Search "Melira" using the magnifying glass in the top right and you'll see some.
Ya I have a whole deck around melira. Etched has been spoken for already. Sorry but it's a good combo! Nice work. Also look into melira plus {phyrexian hydra}, any creature with persist.
Just add persist ({Murderous Redcap}) and a reason to sacrifice ({Viscera Seer}) and away you go.

Yeah, you can't pay the cost (add -1/-1 conter), so she doesn't work.

Also {Kitchen Flinks}, and {Bloodthrone Vampire}. {Phyrexian Unlife} makes you pretty much immortal, and {Ajani's Pridemate} is good with Flinks.
