I can't decide on which is better:
The Avengers vs. The Dark Knight rises
Deadpool
The movies, or just in general?
Having seen both:
*Spoilers*
Dark Knight Rises. It was a more daring film, instead of the safer Avengers "big action film". So much could have gone horribly wrong with the much hyped, much anticipated 3rd batman film. Especially coming off the Dark Knight. I loved it, where I was merely entertained by The Avengers (it did have its moments though)

Deadpool
This.
But I am a Marvel Man myself. I have to say, there were errs in the avengers I thought. But still fantastic. Can't wait to see DKR regardless though.
What spoilers? Lol. Marvel and the Avengers were better all the way.
Are we even having this conversation? Dark Knight Rises was way better.
And dudecore: yeah I was bracing myself for a bad film. Some directors will make horrible movies that try to ride on the success of the first one, and gradually get worse (see: Pirates of the Carribean). The Dark Knight was by no means a disappointment. :)
Dark knight was more of a serious movie while avengers was a fun action movie. To different genres to me so I can't compare. ;)
I just watched the Dark Knight and I left the theater unimpressed. It was a good movie but it is a rough movie.. It is 2hrs 45mins and it did not flow well. There were far to many over extended and or under developed scenes. The director's cut will nearly be 4.5 hours when released. It is a dark movie unlike The Avengers. I can say that the other audience members in the theater were quiet for most of the movie. No cheering or clapping at the end of the movie.
Btw, Christopher Nolan (Director of the latest Batman reboot) is BRILIANT!🌟🌟

He might be but this was not his best work.

I didn't mean that in response to your post (seconds earlier). I'm sorry to hear that about DKR. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm optimistic. (I like darker, somber movies anyway. 😌)

That is my ideal audience...quiet as they should be during the movie and contemplative afterwards! ;)
DC all the way. Zach Snyder is going to make Man of Steel great. I also love almost every JLA member.
SHAAZAAAAAAM!!!!
I'm not a fan of super man but I like just about every other dc hero.

No worries. I understand what you mean! There were a ton of kids in the theater and in think they were surprised at the movie as being not what they expected.
I think the casual movie goer will think this is a superhero action movie (like The Avengers).

No worries brother! If you liked his previous work, you will like this too. I look forward to the extended scenes.
