So I figured we could share some of what happened last night at Friday Night Magic.
At mine we drafted.
I ended up getting an {Odric, Master Tactitian}, foil {Quirion Dryad}, and some good cheap blue flyers and went {G}{U}{W}. I ended up coming in second place!
I {Rewinded} a Nicol Bolas then got one for picks along with a dualie (also Grixis colors) and made Grixis control afterward
Also got 10th in opposed to the usual 17!
I usually hit around 6th in draft. We had about 20 people last night though and I came in 2nd! I was excited bc I've never won a prize in draft except for the release sealed.
4th place in my draft last night. I had a lot of burn, 3 {Chandra's Fury}, 1 {flames of the firebrand}, 2 {pacifism}, 1 {divine verdict}...all backed up by 3 {goblin arsonist}s, 3 of the red intimidate boars, and {Odric, Master Tactician}. My only loss was to mana flood against the 1 deck I couldn't afford to miss a beat to - he took 2nd
