I was just scrolling through my thousands of cards when I landed on {auratouched mage} and thought he wasn't worth sh*t. (Was browsing for my W/G aura deck) but then I remembered {eldrazi conscription}. I thought this was a pretty interesting combo, but I'd like to find a way to quickcast mage, ideally as a sorcery, instant or enchantment in W/G. I thought of {elvish piper}, but she'd just be useless if not for the mage, because I only run aura creatures. Any ideas?
Reanimate it or {Show and Tell}
With W/G I meant white or green cards. :/
{Quicksilver Amulet}

I combo'd him with {Eldrazi Conscription} in my aura deck. Didn't use any paricular ramps, short of lands that sac for two mana. I do love throwing {Armadillo Cloak} on a {Kor Spiritdancer} turn 3...
I usually put {canopy cover} + either {rancor} or {hyena umbra} on T3 on {Kor spiritdancer}, cuz I mostly play against control decks... T-T
Also look into {aura gnarlid} and {yavimaya enchantress} for some big guys.
green is already a ramp color so why not just ramp into it naturally?

Because in a g/w enchant deck I find myself strugfling to get all the auras I want. So removing some to add ramp, other than {overgrowth} is kind of a wastw of card.
wouldn't it be more prudent to run just a toolbox of auras+ auras which you can recur and then play ramp and aura benefiters/searchers?
It's a very tough decision between adding the cool stuff you want to play, and adding the stuff to make your other stuff more reliable. Ahhh Magic. ;)

Well I run 4 {Retether} so yeah, I can manage removal, usually. That's not the point here, tho. The way I built it is fine, it has already proven itself to be a more-than-reliable deck, I was just wondering if somebody would think of some awesome combo to put {auratouched mage} on the table sooner. But nevermind that, i run some -{overgrowth} and by the time i'm able to cast him, the game is prolly already over. ({Kor spiritdancer} + {canopy cover} + {rancor} + {entangler} + {indestructibility} + {ancestral mask}). I guess he's there in case the game just prolongs itself, just in case.

Then, of course, feeling crushing disappointment while watching your work of art getting destroyed because you neglected to add removal...
OOOOOOORING.
