I have been having a lot of trouble dealing with my one friends reanimate deck in casual play. He has a lot of ridiculous creatures and the typical {animate dead} {dark ritual}. Combo that is just too fast and too much to deal with early on. I am currently trying to build my ball lighting deck to combat it, but could use any other deck ideas that would do well...
I would make a blue white dead with {Counterspell} and {Disenchant} {Holy Day} and other similar spells
{Unsummoj} spells are good. Grave-hate {Tormod's Crypt} is good also.
{nihil spellbomb} is perfect for dealing with reanimator, can be used any time and it only costs one there's also a card from Innistrad that's 1 casting cost white card that will exile one card. You can go with spot removal too like {doom blade} but something better might be to make him sacrifice them so you can play some {innocent blood} as soon as he summons a creature, reanimator decks don't usually play two creatures at once first turn if that.
{Relic of Progenitus} is good too.
{leyline of the void} in your opening draw will ruin their whole deck, also {maze of ith} works well and any of the sac spells {innocent blood} and {diabolic edict} are the best because the creatures are usually loaded with shroud and protection.
{scavenging ooze} is also one of the best creatures to come out in the last few years and works well

I do not like any of those since I use some reanimate cards for my mill just so I can get that blue praetor out if needed
