Idk where you people attend your local fnm, but here where I reside, this deck will go 0-5 if lucky. (not to be harsh) but this deck runs on small and fragile creatures. I can't say it any other way, these creatures will simply be outclassed past turn 2

You must have a pretty good environment/meta. Any suggestions for "classier" creatures?

Well, ask for some cards, get a whole deck!

Is this more control based strategy?

This deck is base on solidity. I'm not trying to build the next format defining deck so I didn't alter the theme much. This deck is built to survive the toughest things that the current metagame can throw. It could be called a control deck, but that would be a lie. An aggro deck, but that would be lies too.

QFT, sadly. I would work out a much more leaner vampires build, something like

4 {Stromkirk Noble}
4 {Vampire Interloper}
4 {Rakish Heir}
2 {Olivia Voldaren}

Maybe some burn, but that's about it for the crux of the deck.

Oh I'm not trying to hate on this deck. I always try to improve the deck the best that I can, especially fnm decks.

Yeah. We're not hating on it, but we're just a little harsh when we see a deck that could use more help.

Goblinking, I think that Prophylaxis and AppleGuru56 are trying to help, (even though they are being a little blunt about it).

Maybe we all need to start being clear about the intentions of the decks we post?  I think the general assumption is that if you post a deck in Standard, you are looking to make a competitive tournament/FNM deck.  I believe that Prophylaxis and AppleGuru56 are coming from a place of experience here, and (while they may not always be right, who is after all) they have some good advice on the format and competitive play.

If you are posting a deck that you play with your friends, maybe Casual would be a better home for it?  All advice should be taken with a grain of salt.  (And all advice should be given with a grain of sugar, hey? ;) )  At the end of the day, it is YOUR deck to do with as you please.  Just be aware, posting the the Standard threads is going to encourage advice from the readers.

I would suggest illusions or tempered steel, and then if you have time, wolf run ramp.

I'll try it against Tempered Steel. Will post analysis later.

I agree. However, I'm also quite of a budget player too - I stick to consistent, competitive decks that cost me a Franklin to buy.

My deck used to be VERY similar to this one, and one problem I would always find is lack of consistency. Instead of going with 1 or 2 of several different types of guys, try going with 3 or 4 of a few guys. It is always good to know what you will be getting in your decks. Also, Stromkirk Noble would be a good card to have a set of if you are able to get ahold of them.

It got trashed by Illusions. 1-1. Basically, the deck bounced/killed all the vampires, while riding some Bears and Snapcasters to victory. {Phantasmal Image} copying {Falkenrath Marauders} was the final stake in the heart.
